Spicetree Design Agency (SDA) is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys conversations, networking, research, and turning potential leads into meaningful business opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Research and identify potential clients across relevant industries.
Build and maintain a database of prospective clients and decision-makers.
Assist in lead generation through LinkedIn, email, calls, online research, and other channels.
Reach out to prospects and initiate conversations about our services.
Understand prospect requirements and identify relevant SDA solutions.
Schedule meetings and assist the Business Development team in preparing for client discussions.
Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication throughout the sales process.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, quotations, and other BD material.
Keep CRM/lead trackers updated with accurate information and follow-up status.
Track market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
Coordinate with the creative, digital,



and client servicing teams to understand and communicate our capabilities.
Who We’re Looking For
A graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Business, Management, Communications, or a related field.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable speaking to current people and initiating conversations.
Curious, proactive, and willing to learn.
Good research and internet skills.
Organised and comfortable working with spreadsheets, presentations, and CRM/lead management tools.
Ability to follow up consistently and take ownership of assigned leads.
Prior internship or sales/BD experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
