Position: Application Engineer – L1

Locations: Chennai / Delhi NCR / Pune / Ahmedabad

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Reporting To: Territory Sales Manager

Travel Requirement: 90% within the assigned territory

Job Summary

We are looking for an Application Engineer responsible for driving sales growth, developing business in assigned markets, and providing technical consultation and application support for adhesive products. The role involves extensive customer interaction, product demonstrations, technical troubleshooting, and building solid relationships with OEMs, institutions, and large manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth and business development in assigned focus markets.
Develop strong technical knowledge of adhesive product technologies and applications.
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
Provide pre-sales technical consultation and application support.




Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical specifications and applications.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at large manufacturers.
Support product specification and approval with institutions and OEMs.
Identify new business opportunities and develop a healthy project pipeline.
Meet prospective clients regularly to understand their requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for product/application-related issues.
Travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer meetings and business development.
Coordinate with internal teams including Purchase, Accounts, Management, and Reporting Manager to ensure smooth customer support.
Maintain timely and accurate sales reports and ensure adherence to reporting deadlines.
