D365 Commerce Technical

Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, Hardware Station, and POS extensions.
- Configure and customize Modern POS (MPOS), Cloud POS (CPOS), and Store Commerce applications.
- Develop integrations between D365 Commerce and third-party systems using APIs, Azure Services, and middleware platforms.
- Create and maintain custom workflows, services, and business logic within the D365 Commerce ecosystem.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of Commerce applications.
- Support deployment activities, release management, and production issue resolution.
- Develop technical design documents, deployment guides, and solution documentation.
- Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, coding standards,



and security guidelines.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.

Skills and Attributes

- 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Dynamics 365 Retail development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Commerce Runtime (CRT)
- Retail Server Extensions
- POS Extensions (MPOS/CPOS/Store Commerce)
- Hardware Station Development
- Commerce Scale Unit (CSU)
- Experience with Azure Functions.
- Valuable understanding of Commerce architecture, channel database, and data synchronization processes.
- Experience in integrations with ERP, payment gateways, loyalty systems, and third-party applications.
- Knowledge of source control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Knowledge of Jewellery domain and experience working on Retail projects.
