Role Description The Planning Engineer role is a full-time position based in Hubli.
The Planning
Engineer will develop and manage production plans, schedule work orders, and coordinate resources to ensure timely execution of projects and smooth shop floor operations. This role involves monitoring project progress, analyzing capacity and material requirements, and updating plans to address changes in demand, timelines, or constraints.

Engineer will collaborate closely with production, procurement, design, and quality teams to align plans with operational capabilities and customer commitments. Daily responsibilities include maintaining planning documentation and dashboards, supporting project control activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Robust skills in Planning and Production Planning to create, manage, and optimize manufacturing and project schedules.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to track performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present plans, reports, and status updates clearly.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in metalworking, automotive, or industrial automation environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and planning or ERP tools; familiarity with project management software is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage priorities independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, capacity planning, or continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
