Role Description The Pizza Chef role at MITTI Café is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Pizza

Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas, including dough preparation, sauce making, topping assembly, and oven management, while following standardized recipes. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen,



and managing ingredients inventory related to pizzas and other food and beverage items.

The Pizza

Chef will collaborate with the café team to support service during peak hours, coordinate with front-of-house staff, and assist in training team members, including adults with disabilities, in basic pizza preparation tasks. The role also involves keeping workstations clean, complying with all food safety regulations, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment for colleagues and guests.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, especially in pizza dough, sauces, and toppings.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including portion control, quality standards, and basic kitchen inventory management.
- Commitment to Hygiene and food safety practices, including cleanliness, sanitization, and proper food handling.
- Proficiency in preparing and using various Sauces relevant to pizza and related café menu items.
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef, Cook, or in a professional kitchen environment is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru in a fast-paced setting and coordinate with diverse team members.
- Respectful and inclusive attitude towards persons with disabilities, with willingness to support and mentor team members.
- Basic educational background in hospitality, culinary arts, or relevant field is an advantage but not mandatory.
