About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Software to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced PHP developer with a strong background in object-oriented programming, database management, and performance optimization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable PHP applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our software products.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development, with a deep understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles. Proven expertise in SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and triggers, is essential.



A strong background in designing scalable applications capable of handling large volumes of data is required.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, along with experience in API integration and server-side deployment. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities The Senior Engineer – Software will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance PHP applications that align with internal coding standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities include implementing modular, reusable, and maintainable code using object-oriented principles, developing and optimizing server-side logic, stored procedures, triggers, and database operations. The role involves designing and refining SQL Server queries, indexes, and database structures to enhance performance. You will analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across UI, database, and API layers, ensuring the system operates efficiently under load.

You will also ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines,



participate in code reviews, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality. Taking ownership of tasks from requirement analysis through to deployment and ongoing support is essential. The role demands proactive communication and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within project deadlines.
