About Us
Kavya Textiles is a textile retail business offering sarees, dress materials, fabrics, and accessories. We are looking for an Accountant to manage our daily accounts, payments, tax filings, and stock records.
Key Responsibilities
Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, and cash transactions.
Match bank statements and cash balances with accounting records.
Handle GST, TDS, and other tax filings on time.
Prepare monthly financial reports and weekly cash flow updates.
Track supplier payments and pending customer payments.
Maintain stock records,
check physical stock, and report differences.
Track product costs, margins, and slow-moving stock.
Keep bills and documents ready for audits.
Skills Required
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.
Understanding of GST, bookkeeping, and stock accounting.
Basic Excel skills.
Accuracy, honesty, and ability to meet deadlines.
Retail or textile accounting experience is preferred.
