About the Role

We are hiring an engineer to build the vehicle-facing HMI (Human Machine Interface) and companion mobile application for an electric vehicle platform. The role covers Android-based in-vehicle software, real-time vehicle state visualization, connected vehicle features, and integration with backend and embedded systems.
The engineer will own the UI layer, application architecture, device integration, and release quality for both the vehicle HMI and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
*Develop and maintain the HMI application for the vehicle display.
*Build and maintain the companion mobile application for connected vehicle features.
*Implement real-time UI updates for vehicle status, alerts, navigation, and user interactions.
*Integrate applications with vehicle controllers,



middleware, and backend services.
*Collaborate with design, firmware, and backend teams to define screen flows and data interfaces.
*Optimize applications for performance, stability, and responsiveness on embedded hardware.
*Debug and resolve issues across the HMI, mobile app, and integration layers.
*Support testing, validation, and release readiness for production deployments.

Required Skills & Experience
*Strong experience in Android application development.
*Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
*Experience building mobile applications on Android and/or cross-platform frameworks.
*Strong understanding of APIs and real-time data integration.
*Experience with embedded Android or automotive-style UI development.
*Ability to build reliable, modular, and testable software.
*Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work closely with hardware, firmware, and backend teams.
