We are seeking a qualified MD Pathologist with strong expertise in Histopathology to join our diagnostic team. The role involves accurate and timely evaluation of tissue, fluid, and blood samples to assist in disease diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. The Pathologist will ensure quality control in laboratory processes, participate in clinical discussions, and contribute to continuous improvements in diagnostic services.

Responsibilities
Perform gross and microscopic examination of tissue specimens (biopsies, resections, cytology smears).
Accurately interpret histopathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology samples and issue diagnostic reports.
Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, and oncologists to provide diagnostic insights and treatment guidance.
Supervise and guide laboratory staff in specimen processing, staining, and slide preparation.
Ensure quality control, quality assurance, and compliance with NABL/ISO/BIS/other regulatory standards.




Review and validate pathology reports before release.
Participate in tumor boards, clinicopathological meetings, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and ensure confidentiality.
Stay updated with advances in pathology, diagnostic technology, and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications
MD in Pathology from a recognized institution (MCI/NMC approved).
Solid knowledge and practical experience in Histopathology (mandatory).
Expertise in Cytopathology, Hematology, and Clinical Pathology preferred.
Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with clinicians effectively.
Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment, digital pathology, and LIS (Laboratory Information Systems).
