About the Role
Terralogic is looking for a Java Developer with strong backend development fundamentals and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications while working closely with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to build, deploy, and maintain applications across environments.
This role requires candidates who are comfortable working in rotational shifts and are willing to make a minimum 18-month commitment with the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java.
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and application components.
Work with Docker to containerize applications.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes environments.




Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Work with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
Use Git for source-code management, branching, merging, and collaboration.
Troubleshoot application, deployment, and environment-related issues.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
Follow coding standards, development best practices, and version-control processes.
Participate in production support and deployment activities as required.

Required Skills
Must-Have:
Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
Good understanding of Java backend development and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with Docker.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins.
Valuable working knowledge of Git.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Willingness to commit
