Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in automation testing, specifically with a strong emphasis on Cypress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Mentor junior QA team members on best practices in automation testing.





Mandatory Skills

Strong expertise in Cypress for end-to-end testing.
Proficient in JavaScript and familiarity with testing frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium or TestNG.
Knowledge of performance testing tools.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience in API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in QA automation.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
