Job Title: Performance Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure our applications meet defined performance benchmarks. This role involves close collaboration with development, DevOps, and product teams to identify bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and validate fixes, Manual testing knowledge & support, cross-functional team testing support.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability tests.

· Create test plans and test scripts based on system architecture and business requirements.

· Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve them.

· Analyze test results and generate detailed reports with recommendations.

· Simulate production environments and validate application performance under different loads.

· Monitor system behavior during testing using profiling tools and application logs.

· Maintain and update performance test environments and automation frameworks.

· Provide input into performance testing best practices and strategies.





Required Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in performance testing, Manual Testing or quality assurance.

· Proficiency with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, BlazeMeter) & Manual testing.

· Strong knowledge of software performance metrics (response time, throughput, latency, etc.).

· Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Recent Relic).

· Experience with web and API performance testing.

· Understanding of system architecture, databases, and networking concepts.

· Good scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell, Groovy).

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience testing cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

· Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests, Manual Testing

· Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.

· ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus.
