Key Responsibilities
- Maintain advanced knowledge of Pega architecture, design principles, and implementation best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest Pega platform features, tools, and capabilities.
- Continuously enhance technical expertise and drive adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance while collaborating with senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
- Promote reusable components and enterprise-wide Pega implementation standards.
- Mentor and coach Pega Certified System Architects and Senior System Architects, ensuring high-quality design and development practices.
- Review team deliverables and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and critical production incidents.
- Deliver constructive feedback and technical coaching to team members.
- Support Pega Citizen Development through training, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Design scalable, low-code solutions leveraging Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) Pega capabilities.
- Collaborate with Pega COE, Architecture, Product, Engineering,
and IT teams to define and implement enterprise architecture standards.
- Design simple, scalable, service-oriented solutions while minimizing unnecessary complexity.
- Provide recommendations for product enhancements based on business requirements.
- Work with infrastructure teams to understand hardware, networking, server topology, and integration requirements.
- Lead architectural decisions with strong technical justification and stakeholder influence.
- Evaluate when to integrate with external systems versus using end-to-end Pega capabilities.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Pegasystems.
- Expert knowledge of Pega Customer Service applications.
- Experience with Pega Constellation and/or DX API.
- Valid Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification.
- Strong expertise across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with application servers, programming languages, relational and non-relational databases, and integration technologies.
- Strong experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex technical problems into scalable solutions.
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
