Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for Packaging Development Professionals with 1 to 10 years of experience. The role involves designing and developing packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D;, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement to optimize packaging materials, formats, and processes. The position requires conducting packaging trials, validating new packaging systems, and supporting technology transfers and product launches.



The role also includes managing documentation, coordinating with vendors, monitoring project timelines, and driving continuous improvement in packaging performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design, with the ability to develop practical, safe, and efficient packaging solutions.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging, including knowledge of regulatory requirements, stability considerations, and GMP standards.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D;) related to packaging, including conducting trials, validations, and packaging-related studies.
- Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor packaging development projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with packaging materials (blister, bottles, cartons, foils, labels) and associated machinery used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare technical reports, and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory and quality purposes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing environment is an advantage.
