Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vishakhapatnam for an Overseas Education Counselor. The counselor will meet and counsel students and families to understand academic interests, career goals, and financial considerations, and recommend suitable countries, universities, and programs. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, managing application timelines, assisting with documentation, and coordinating with universities and internal teams.

The role involves guiding students through admission, scholarship, and visa processes,



organizing information sessions and workshops, and maintaining accurate records in the student management system. The counselor will also stay updated on international education trends, entry requirements, and policy changes to provide current and reliable advice.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Student Counseling skills to guide learners through program and university selection.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related knowledge to align study options with long-term career paths.
- Relevant experience in overseas education consulting, admissions, or student services is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, Counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven setting with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with online application portals and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an added benefit.
