: Oracle Middleware Administrator (WebLogic)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Middleware Administrator to manage mission-critical WebLogic environments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise Java applications, ensuring 24/7 high availability, performance tuning, and robust security for our banking platforms.

Technical Core Competencies

WebLogic Mastery: Expert-level administration of Oracle WebLogic Server (11g/12c/14c), including clustering, managed servers, and node managers.

Application Management: Full ownership of deployments (EAR, WAR, JAR) and configuration of JDBC, JMS, and security realms.

Performance Engineering: Advanced JVM tuning, heap/thread dump analysis, and resolving connection leaks or bottlenecks.

Infrastructure & Security: Hands-on experience with Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), SSL/Certificate management, and Linux/Unix system administration.

Automation: Proficiency in WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) and Shell/Python scripting for operational automation.

Key Responsibilities

High Availability:



Configure and maintain HA and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups, including regular DR drills.

Operations: Provide L2/L3 support in a 24x7 environment, troubleshooting production crashes and driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Security: Implement security hardening, manage LDAP/AD integration, and handle patching/migration activities.

Ecosystem Integration: Collaborate with DBAs and Developers to integrate WebLogic with Oracle Databases and SOA/OSB suites.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum 8 years in middleware ops, ideally within Banking or Large Enterprise sectors.

Availability: Must be willing to work in a 24x7 rotating shift model.

Soft Skills: Strong documentation discipline and the ability to facilitate technical issues between Dev and Support teams.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

Exposure to Oracle Identity Management (OAM, OIM, OID).

Experience with Oracle SOA Suite or Fusion Middleware.

Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes or DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Certification: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – WebLogic Server.
