Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Direct daily lab activities, workflow processes, and resource distribution.- Financial & Budgeting: Build annual budgets, monitor expenses, and manage procurement of reagents and equipment.- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025 standards, recognition from the Mo EFCC or the CPCB).- Staff Leadership: Handle recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and mentorship of technical and support teams.- Systems & Technology: Manage Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and validate recent technical instrumentation. Qualifications & Skills:- Education: Master’s degree or Ph. D. in a relevant scientific discipline like chemistry, laboratory instrumentation, or Lab Administration.- Experience: 10+ years of supervisory or administrative experience for a PAN India commercial laboratory network focused on waste analysis/characterization and environmental monitoring & testing services.- Core Competencies: Strong financial acumen, regulatory knowledge, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in LIMS software.
