Role Overview
We are hiring a remote US Entertainment Writer Intern who is passionate about Western television, Hollywood releases, and the streaming ecosystem. In this role, you will write concise, high-utility watch guides, cover breaking streaming news, and curate release calendars for an audience looking for what to watch next. You will gain direct digital newsroom experience, learn search-engine-optimized entertainment writing, and build a verified author portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Streaming Discovery & Guides: Write daily and weekly watch guides (e.g., "What to Stream This Weekend," platform roundups, and genre recommendations).
Breaking News & Briefs: Research and write fast-turnaround, 250–400 word articles on US show renewals,



trailer releases, casting news, and studio announcements.
Release Tracking: Assist in updating release calendars and platform catalog entries to ensure accurate drop dates and platform availability.
Editorial Quality: Adhere strictly to US English grammar, spelling, and journalistic style guidelines, delivering clean, proofread copy on deadline.

What We Are Looking For
Strong Knowledge of US Streaming & TV: You actively follow American TV series, Hollywood movies, and streaming culture across platforms like Netflix, Max, Disney+, and Hulu.
Flawless Written American English: Transparent, engaging writing with correct US conventions (e.g., canceled vs. cancelled, premiere vs. release).
Research & Fact-Checking Skills: Ability to source information quickly from credible trades (Variety, Deadline, studio press releases) without relying on rumors or unverified aggregators.
