Level: Consultant

Work you'll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards.

Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

- Firewall Management:
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls.
- Implement security policies, NAT, and VPN configurations.
- Monitor firewall performance and packet captures to troubleshoot the Network issues

- IPsec Tunnel Configuration:

- Design and implement IPsec tunnels for secure communication between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IPsec tunnels.
- Ensure high availability and redundancy of IPsec connections.

- Oracle Cloud Networking:

- Design and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) network components including Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, and security lists and OCI Native Firewall.
- Implement and manage Oracle Cloud networking services such as Load Balancers, VPN, and FastConnect.
- Ensure secure and productive connectivity between on-premises networks and Oracle Cloud.

- Terraform Scripting:

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated deployment and management of network resources.
- Write and manage Terraform scripts to provision and configure network infrastructure




- Integrate Terraform scripts into CI/CD pipelines.

- Certifications:

- Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Fortinet NSE, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications, and Terraform Associate Certification are highly desirable.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

5+ years of Hands-on OCI networking experience (design + operations) with production workloads.

- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF concepts), VLAN/VPN, DNS, TLS, load balancing.
- Experience with DRG, route distribution, and hybrid connectivity patterns.
- Troubleshooting proficiency across cloud and on-prem networks.
- IaC experience (preferred: Terraform); version control (Git) and standard SDLC/change practices.
- Multi-cloud networking familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP) and migration/hybrid patterns.
- Security tooling exposure (network firewalls, WAF concepts, SIEM integration).
- Automation/scripting (Python or Bash) for operational tasks

- Ability to translate requirements into secure network designs and communicate clearly with stakeholders.• Understanding of 2-tier, 3-tier, or multi-tier architecture.
- Experience managing Data Center components.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud technologies (specify).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (specify).
- Experience with monitoring tools (OCI Monitoring/Logging, Network Path Analyzer (or equivalent)
- Experience with scripting/programming tools (specify).
- Associate/Professional level certification (specify technology).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and innovation across business domains.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Education:

- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Location:

- Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Mumbai/Gurgaon/Kolkata

Shift Timings:

- 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
