Position Summary

Level: Consultant

Work you'll do: Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards.

Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

· Design and deliver OCI target-state architectures, including tenancy structure, compartments, IAM, networking, and security guardrails.

· Engineer and operate OCI network connectivity and routing (VCNs, subnets, route tables, DRGs, VPN/FastConnect), plus edge services (load balancers, DNS).

· Provision, configure, and support OCI platform services such as Compute, Block/Object Storage, OCI Database services, OKE (Kubernetes), monitoring, and logging.

· Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using modular Terraform (and OCI Resource Manager where applicable) to standardize provisioning, configuration, and scaling.

· Build and run automation for repeatable operations via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps patterns when appropriate.

· Plan and execute cloud migrations (rehost/refactor/replatform), including cutover planning, rollback strategy, and post-migration validation.

· Implement and maintain security controls: IAM policies, Vault/KMS,



security zones, WAF, patch/vulnerability remediation, and audit/log controls.

· Configure OCI logging and retention policies; manage log pipelines and operational visibility across services.

· Configure and manage security and operational event monitoring (SEIM/SEAM) and integrate with enterprise SIEM tools.

· Establish operational readiness: dashboards, alarms, runbooks, incident/problem/change processes, and on-call handover procedures.

· Design and implement high availability, backup/restore, and disaster recovery strategies; configure failover and conduct DR tests/drills with documented playbooks.

· Monitor PaaS/IaaS services and perform routine maintenance (backups, patching, updates), continuously optimizing performance and reliability.

· Drive FinOps practices through tagging standards, budgets, cost monitoring, right-sizing, and commitment strategies where applicable.

· Partner with architects, SMEs, client stakeholders, application, and integration teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure end-to-end service integration.

· Operate within the shared responsibility model across on-prem, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, clarifying ownership and controls.

· Apply ITIL-aligned service management (incidents, changes, requests) and support SLA/SLO/SOW-driven delivery and reporting.





· Produce and maintain delivery artifacts (HLD/LLD, SOPs, DR playbooks, KB articles, status/reporting decks) and provide knowledge transfer/training to junior team members.

· Provide rotational on-call and weekend support as required, ensuring clear handoffs and timely incident resolution.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in OCI Administration (VCNs, subnets, routing, DRGs, VPN/FastConnect, load balancers, DNS.
- Compute, Block/Object Storage, OCI Database services, OKE (Kubernetes), monitoring/logging.
- Terraform/OCI Resource Manager, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps where applicable
- Understanding of 2-tier, 3-tier, or multi-tier architecture.
- Experience managing Data Center components.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud technologies
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Experience with scripting/programming tools
- Associate/Qualified level certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and innovation across business domains.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

- Understanding of application/infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of end-to-end infrastructure landscapes.

Education:

- B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
