Role Description This is a remote internship/virtual unpaid role for 45 days to understand the way of your working as a News Writer at Prayan Media Network.

The News

Writer will research current events, gather information from credible sources, and write clear, concise news articles across topics such as business, startups, markets, sports, entertainment, politics, national, and global affairs. Day-to-day responsibilities include pitching story ideas, drafting and revising articles, assisting with press release preparation, and ensuring accuracy and fairness in reporting.



The intern will collaborate with editors and other team members, adapt to editorial guidelines, meet deadlines, and learn digital publishing workflows. This role is designed to help interns build practical journalism experience in a supportive, professional setting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid News Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to produce accurate, clear, and engaging articles.
- Candidates should possess Journalism and Press Releases skills to support reporting, structured storytelling, and formal announcements.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, including the ability to interview sources and collaborate effectively with editors and team members.
- Candidates should possess basic digital literacy and familiarity with online news platforms, content management systems, or social media tools.
- Relevant coursework or experience in journalism, mass communication, media studies, or related fields is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are preferred.
