Role Description The Network Engineer role at Niv-Tech Solutions Private Limited is a full time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar.

The Network

Engineer will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, and implementing network changes and upgrades in line with organizational requirements. The role involves supporting secure network operations, collaborating with other technical teams, documenting configurations and procedures,



and ensuring high availability and reliability of network services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design for planning, implementing, and optimizing network architectures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration for managing network devices, configurations, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose, analyze, and resolve network issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to configure and maintain secure networks, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and WAN/LAN technologies.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
