: Senior Mobile Developer (Native Android & iOS)

Travel Requirement: 1-week tentative visit to Mumbai every 6 months (Accommodation provided by Successive)

Role Overview

Successive is seeking a high-performing Senior Mobile Developer proficient in both Native Android and Native iOS development. This is a critical role for an immediate project need requiring a developer who can manage the full lifecycle of mobile applications across both major platforms. You will work in a remote environment but must be flexible to travel to Mumbai for strategic alignment sessions once every six months.

Core Responsibilities

Cross-Platform Excellence: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality native applications for both Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).

Feature Integration: Build complex UI components and integrate third-party APIs and SDKs to enhance app functionality.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve application performance, ensuring low latency and high responsiveness across various devices.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate wireframes into functional, high-performance code.

Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews and implement unit and integration testing to maintain a robust codebase.

Strategic Sync:



Participate in bi-annual on-site sprints in Mumbai to synchronize with the core delivery teams.

Required Experience & Skills

Industry Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in native mobile application development.

Technical Stack

Android: Deep proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a strong understanding of Android Jetpack and Material Design.

iOS: Expert-level knowledge of Swift and CocoaTouch, with experience in UIKit/SwiftUI.

Architecture: Solid understanding of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or VIPER.

Networking: Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for real-time data handling.

Tools: Proficiency with Version Control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and app distribution via Play Store and App Store.

OS Fundamentals: Robust grasp of memory management, multi-threading, and offline storage.

Qualifications & Competencies

Adaptability: Proven ability to switch contexts between Android and iOS environments seamlessly.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in fast-paced, Sprint-based delivery models.

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field
