Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MEP Manager role based in Mumbai. The MEP Manager will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for hotel development and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, local regulations, and brand requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating MEP design and execution with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors; reviewing drawings and specifications; and monitoring construction progress to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.



The role involves planning and supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, optimizing energy efficiency, safety, and guest comfort. The MEP Manager will also support procurement activities for MEP materials and equipment, manage budgets and timelines for MEP works, and prepare regular reports for project and senior management.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, MEP Design, and MEP Coordination.
- Practical experience with Plumbing systems design, installation, and maintenance within large commercial or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in Procurement processes related to MEP materials and equipment, including vendor evaluation and cost optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience as an MEP Manager or similar role in hotel, commercial, or large-scale real estate projects, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications; familiarity with relevant building codes, safety standards, and green building practices.
- Strong project management, planning, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contractors.
- Effective communication and reporting skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
