Role Description The Medical Coding Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role oversees daily coding operations, ensuring accurate assignment of codes and adherence to regulatory and payer guidelines.

Responsibilities include supervising coding staff, reviewing complex cases, conducting internal audits, and resolving coding-related issues that impact claims, AR, and denials.

The Medical Coding

Manager will collaborate with revenue cycle, billing, and IT teams to improve documentation quality, optimize reimbursement,



and support workflow automation initiatives. The role also involves training and mentoring coders, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to maintain high coding accuracy and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills, including proficiency with standard coding systems and payer rules.
- Knowledge of Health Information Management and Medical Terminology to interpret clinical documentation accurately.
- Relevant certification such as RHIT or equivalent credential in health information or medical coding.
- Experience managing or leading coding teams in a healthcare or revenue cycle setting.
- Robust understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and audit practices related to coding and billing.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends in denials or coding errors, and implement corrective actions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clinicians, billing teams, and technology partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
