About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Medical Content Writer to join our team and create accurate, transparent, engaging, and SEO-friendly healthcare content for our e-commerce website.

The ideal candidate should have strong medical/healthcare writing skills and be comfortable creating product descriptions for medicines and healthcare products, as well as reviewing and updating content across different sections of a website.

Key Responsibilities

- Write clear, accurate, and informative medical product descriptions for an e-commerce website.
- Create and update product-page content, including product details, uses, precautions, directions, side effects, interactions, and FAQs.
- Research medical and pharmaceutical topics using reliable and authoritative sources.
- Review existing website content and identify outdated, inaccurate, duplicate, or low-quality information.
- Regularly update and improve content across product pages, category pages, landing pages, blogs, and other website sections.
- Ensure medical content is easy for general consumers to understand while maintaining appropriate medical accuracy.
- Follow SEO best practices, including natural keyword placement, headings, internal linking, and search-friendly content structure.
- Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to develop content that supports organic search visibility and user engagement.
- Maintain consistency in terminology, tone, formatting, and medical information throughout the website.
- Fact-check medical claims and ensure content is responsibly written without misleading or unsupported statements.
- Optimize existing content based on SEO performance, search intent,



and content-quality requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Writer, Healthcare Content Writer, Pharmaceutical Content Writer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
- Experience writing medicine or healthcare product descriptions for e-commerce websites is highly preferred.
- Excellent English writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Ability to simplify complex medical information for everyday consumers.
- Basic to strong understanding of SEO content writing.
- Ability to research information from credible medical and pharmaceutical sources.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple product pages and content updates efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or educational background in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience working with online pharmacies, healthcare e-commerce, pharmaceutical companies, or medical websites.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.
- Experience with SEO tools and content optimization.
- Understanding of U.S. healthcare terminology and audience expectations.
