Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Medical Biller (Trainer) at GrowAI Edtech.

The Medical

Biller (Trainer) will design and deliver training sessions on medical billing processes, with a focus on terminology, coding, insurance workflows, and claim management. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, conducting virtual classes, demonstrating end-to-end billing workflows, and guiding learners through practical exercises. The trainer will review learner progress, provide feedback, clarify complex billing scenarios, and share best practices for handling denials and compliance requirements.





The role also involves collaborating with the curriculum team to update course content and ensure training remains aligned with current healthcare billing standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and its application in clinical documentation and billing.
- Candidates should possess solid experience with ICD-10 coding and related coding standards used in healthcare billing.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Insurance processes, including commercial payers and coordination of benefits.
- Candidates should possess in-depth understanding of Medicare billing rules and payer-specific requirements.
- Candidates should possess experience managing and resolving Denials, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Previous hands-on work as a medical biller or revenue cycle professional, preferably in outpatient or specialty practices.
- Ability to teach complex concepts clearly in a remote learning environment; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfort with digital tools and learning platforms; proficiency in basic office and documentation software.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and awareness of healthcare compliance and privacy standards.
- Relevant certification in medical billing and coding or equivalent practical experience; training or teaching experience is a plus.
