Product Design Draughtsman (EDRC) Key Responsibilities Mechanical Design & Engineering Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for: Stacker Cum Reclaimers Twin Boom Stackers Barrel Reclaimers Wagon Tipplers (Rotaside, Crescent, Tandem Type) Paddle Feeders Ship Loaders Port Cranes Steel Plant Equipment Belt Conveyor Systems Mining and Bulk Material Handling Systems Prepare design calculations and engineering reports for various material handling equipment. Perform conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering activities. Support product improvement, optimization, and cost-effective design solutions.
Design
Calculations & Equipment Sizing Carry out calculations for: Drive Selection Motor Sizing Gearbox Selection Geared Motor Selection Brake Sizing Coupling Selection Winch Selection Wire Rope Sizing Hydraulic Cylinder Sizing Hydraulic Power Pack Sizing Bearing Selection Shaft Design Belt Conveyor Component Selection Perform component sizing and selection based on operating duty and applicable standards. Develop design calculations considering static and dynamic loading conditions.
Hydraulic System Engineering
Design and select hydraulic systems and components for heavy industrial equipment.
Prepare hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical specifications.
Perform selection of: Hydraulic Cylinders Hydraulic Power Packs Pumps Motors Direction Control Valves Proportional Valves Hydraulic Jacks Accumulators Filters and Accessories Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Perform engineering analysis using: ANSYS Nastran Carry out: Static Structural Analysis Stress Analysis Deflection Analysis Fatigue Assessment Buckling Analysis Structural Optimization Validate structural adequacy and compliance with applicable design standards. Interpret analysis results and provide engineering recommendations.
Structural Analysis
Perform structural analysis of equipment and supporting structures using: STAAD.Pro ANSYS Nastran Evaluate structural integrity under: Operating Loads Wind Loads Seismic Loads Impact Loads Agile Loads Material Flow Analysis Perform material flow simulations and bulk material behavior studies.
Utilize EDEM software for: Material Flow Analysis Chute Performance Evaluation Transfer Point Optimization Wear Assessment Bulk Material Handling Studies Experience in EDEM will be considered a significant advantage.
