Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Indore.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design, develop, and improve material handling and milling equipment, including conveyors, elevators, bins, and processing machines. Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing mechanical drawings, performing design calculations, selecting components and materials, and coordinating with production and fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability and quality. The role involves collaborating with sales and project teams on technical specifications, supporting installation and commissioning, and troubleshooting mechanical issues at the shop floor and customer sites.

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement and R&D; initiatives to enhance product performance, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and machine design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to industrial equipment and material handling systems.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar) for 2D and 3D modeling, drafting, and detailing of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of engineering deliverables.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D;), including prototyping, testing, performance analysis, and implementing design improvements based on data and customer feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, manufacturing methods, and industrial safety standards relevant to material handling and milling equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry codes; solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with design, production, quality, and service teams.
- Prior experience in material handling, process equipment, or heavy machinery manufacturing is an advantage.
