Role Description As a Mechanical Design Engineer at HV Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing industrial products such as racks, material handling equipment, conveyor systems, assembly tables, and related mechanical structures. In this full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, you will create and revise CAD models and detailed drawings, perform basic calculations, and ensure designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturing requirements. You will collaborate closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost, and to support smooth project execution.





Daily responsibilities include participating in project discussions, reviewing customer specifications, providing technical inputs for customization, and assisting in continuous improvement of existing product designs and processes. You will also support documentation, design standards, and adherence to relevant industry norms.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply mechanical principles to industrial product design and structural components.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including experience with load calculations, material selection, and design for manufacturability.
- Hands-on experience in Product Design for industrial equipment such as racks, trolleys, conveyors, and material handling systems.
- Practical skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Experience in fabrication, assembly, or industrial manufacturing environments is an advantage.
