Role Description The Math Tutor role at FcC is a full-time remote position focused on delivering high-quality online math instruction to students ages 5–18. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting live virtual lessons, explaining mathematical concepts in a transparent and engaging manner, and adapting teaching approaches to different learning styles and grade levels. The tutor will assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, assign practice tasks,



and track progress over time.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, collaborating with the academic team to refine teaching materials, and communicating with caregivers or guardians when needed to support learner success.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Mathematics, including foundational arithmetic and Algebra.
- Demonstrated experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring, preferably with school-aged learners.
- Excellent Communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly and encouraging learner participation.
- Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging remote learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and basic educational technology tools.
- Patience, adaptability, and a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Prior experience preparing students for exams or standardized assessments is an advantage.
