Arts, Wellness & International DevelopmentRemote | India-based preferred
Full-time | ₹50,000/month
Initial 3-month contract, with solid potential to continue
We are looking for an exceptional, proactive Marketing, Sales & Relationships Manager to take ownership of digital marketing, lead generation, customer relationships and sales across a small but ambitious portfolio of work spanning:
- performing arts, theatre and professional training
- wellness, retreats and transformational programmes
- international development, social impact and consultancy
This is not simply a social-media role.
We need someone who can understand complex, values-led work, reach the right audiences, build genuine relationships and turn interest into enquiries, bookings and revenue.
The Role: You will take responsibility for:
- Managing and optimising Meta/Instagram and Google advertising
- Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Improving SEO, website journeys and conversion
- Managing email marketing, mailing lists and CRM
- Following up leads through email, WhatsApp and other channels
- Converting enquiries into bookings and sales
- Building excellent relationships with prospective students, participants and clients
- Organising customer data, forms, payments and marketing automations
- Tracking leads, conversions, campaign performance and revenue
- Researching and approaching potential institutional clients, partners and organisations
- Supporting LinkedIn and targeted business-development outreach
- Developing content from existing photography, video, testimonials and ideas
- Identifying what is working, what isn't, and what should be prioritised
You will work directly with the founder and should be comfortable working very independently. Who we are looking for:

- digital marketing
- sales and lead conversion
- performance/growth marketing
- CRM and marketing automation
- Meta and Google Ads
- email marketing
- SEO
- customer/community relationships
- business development
We have asked for someone with Masters Level Education - if you do not have this but think you can demonstrate the equivalent in experience please say you have a masters level in the key questions.
Experience within arts and culture, wellness, education/training, NGOs,
international development, social enterprise or other purpose-led organisations would be particularly valuable.
You do not need to already understand all three sectors.
You do need to be intellectually curious and willing to become genuinely knowledgeable about the work you are marketing.
The right person will be:
- highly proactive and resourceful
- commercially minded without being aggressively sales-focused
- excellent at communicating with people
- fluent and confident in written and spoken English
- analytical and comfortable with data
- organised and able to create systems
- able to prioritise independently
- comfortable working in a small founder-led organisation
- interested in creativity, human development and social change
- focused on results rather than simply activity, followers or impressions
We particularly want someone who understands that different audiences require completely different approaches — marketing an intensive theatre programme is not the same as marketing a wellness retreat or building relationships with international NGOs.
What success looks like after three months:
- leads and contacts are properly organised
- every important enquiry is followed up
- strong campaigns are running for priority programmes
- advertising is being tested and improved
- mailing lists and participant/client journeys are functioning effectively
- prospective participant/client receive excellent communication and follow-up
- institutional prospects are being systematically approached
- we understand which marketing activity produces genuine results
- bookings, qualified enquiries and revenue are increasing
- the founder is spending significantly less time on day-to-day marketing administration
Salary and contract: hat success looks like after three months:
- ₹50,000 per month
- Full-time remote position.
- Initial 3-month contract,
