Role Description The Marine Technical Operation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day marine operations, including monitoring vessel performance, coordinating technical activities, and assisting with inspections and compliance checks. The specialist will work closely with senior technical consultants to gather operational data, prepare reports, and support project execution for dry-docking, repairs, and retrofits.

The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient,



and compliant vessel operations. The specialist will also contribute to training initiatives and the implementation of digital tools that enhance operational visibility and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Marine Operations and Maritime practices, with an understanding of vessel management and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with marine service environments, including disciplined operational procedures.
- Candidates should possess practical exposure to Boat and shipboard systems, including basic knowledge of onboard machinery and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Training capabilities, including the ability to support knowledge sharing, onboard training sessions, and procedural guidance.
- Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Naval Architecture, or a related maritime field is preferred.
- Experience in technical ship management, marine consulting, or fleet operations will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with proficiency in standard office and technical software tools.
- Ability to work in a structured, safety-focused environment and collaborate effectively with multicultural, cross-functional teams.
