Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain our trading and research infrastructure. This role will be pivotal in building a high-performance simulator, aligning production systems with simulations, and developing critical software infrastructure to support research and trading activities. You will work closely with quant researchers and traders to ensure smooth integration between research, simulation, and live trading environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C++ development and a passion for exploring recent techniques to optimize code efficiency daily.
Key Responsibilities:
· Development & Optimization: Build, optimize, and maintain the firm’s simulation environment and trading infrastructure using C++.
· Infrastructure Development: Create and maintain the software infrastructure that supports the research and trading teams.
· Matching Production vs. Simulation: Ensure the consistency and alignment of simulation models with live production trading systems.
· Research Collaboration: Work closely with the quant research team to integrate research models into the trading infrastructure.
· Continuous Code Optimization: Explore and implement new methods to make C++ code more efficient and scalable on an ongoing basis.
· Performance Monitoring: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to optimize latency and throughput.
