Role Description The Loan Officer role is a full-time, in office position based in Samastipur. The Loan Officer will be responsible for sourcing loan applications, guiding prospective borrowers through the loan process, and completing loan origination activities from initial inquiry to disbursement. Daily tasks include assessing borrower eligibility, collecting and verifying documentation, conducting basic financial analysis,



and coordinating with underwriting teams to ensure timely and accurate loan approvals. The role also involves providing clear, professional customer service, explaining loan terms and conditions, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Loan Officer will work closely with branch staff to achieve portfolio quality and growth targets while supporting Seeds Fincap’s mission of serving micro, small, and medium enterprises.
Qualifications

Experience in Loan Officer or similar lending roles, with a solid understanding of loan products and processes.
Strong Finance and basic accounting knowledge to evaluate borrower profiles and repayment capacity.
Familiarity with Underwriting principles, credit assessment, and risk evaluation in a lending context.
