- Minimum of 5

- years of experience in mainframe testing

- Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS

- Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform database testing

- Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution

- Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium or UFT

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Solid communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and technical specifications

- Execute test cases and document results to ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe applications





- Identify and report defects and issues to development teams and work with them to resolve problems

- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software

- Provide support to end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers and team members

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodology
