We are hiring Mainframe Developers with robust expertise in COBOL and DB2 to work on enterprise and mission-critical applications, primarily in the Banking & Financial Services domain.
Key Skills Required
- COBOL (Enterprise COBOL)
- DB2 (IBM DB2)
- JCL (Job Control Language)
- CICS
- VSAM (Good to have)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL
- Write and optimize DB2 queries and programs
- Work on batch processing (JCL) and online systems (CICS)
- Perform analysis, debugging, and issue resolution
- Support production environments (L2/L3 support)
- Participate in system integration and testing
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Banking / BFSI domain
- Exposure to Endevor / Changeman
- Knowledge of Control-M or other schedulers
- Experience in performance tuning and job monitoring
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and in a team
