Roles and Responsibilities:
Own application operations for the assigned estate, including availability and performance commitments across multiple service tiers.
Design and maintain observability coverage using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and OpenTelemetry.
Drive SRE practices across the application landscape, including SLI/SLO definition, error budgets, and toil reduction.
Lead release and change operations with CI/CD governance, blue-green and canary deployment patterns, and change-risk assessment.
Coordinate incident, problem, and root-cause analysis activities with application, database, and cloud teams to reduce recurring issues.
Skills Required:
18 to 25 years of relevant experience in application operations, APM, SRE, or production support leadership.
Strong hands-on experience in application operations, APM,



and observability engineering across enterprise application estates.
Deep working knowledge of Dynatrace and AppDynamics, with exposure to Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
Ability to lead production support for Java and .NET applications with SQL-based triage across application and platform layers.
Experience with release governance, CI/CD pipelines, and production-readiness practices in a managed services workplace.
Good to Have:
DevOps exposure with Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Rundeck, and ServiceNow automation.
ITIL 4 knowledge for incident, problem, and change management.
Cloud and platform familiarity with Azure and related application support tooling.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
