Windchill Process/Principal Consultant
Birlasoft is looking for Windchill Process Consultant who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing PLM business processes in PTC Windchill, ensuring alignment between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and enterprise IT teams.
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Noida
Key Responsibilities
PLM Process Analysis & Design

Lead AS‑IS and TO‑BE process workshops with business stakeholders
Analyze and design Windchill processes for: Part, BOM, and Document Management,



Change & Configuration Management, Release and approval workflows
Translate business processes into transparent functional requirements and solution proposals
Provide functional guidance across Windchill modules such as: PDMLink Change Management, BOM & Configuration Management, ProjectLink / PartsLink (as applicable)
Recommend OOTB vs configuration vs customization approaches
Work with technical teams to validate and refine functional feasibility
Validate process implementation during SIT and UAT
Support functional defect triage and resolution
Support organizational change management from process perspective
Prepare and validate: User process flows, Training material and SOPs
Conduct user walkthroughs, demos, and UAT supports
Ensure business readiness for go‑live
Support process impact analysis for: Windchill upgrades, Data migration programs
Validate migrated data from process correctness perspective
