Overview
We are seeking an experienced DBA / Senior DBA to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining high-availability database systems, with a strong focus on MariaDB environments, particularly MariaDB with Galera Cluster.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in database architecture, replication, clustering, performance tuning, and high-availability setups, along with hands-on experience in developing complex database applications, triggers, and stored procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain databases and database applications using MariaDB
Deploy, manage, and maintain MariaDB with Galera Cluster to ensure high availability and fault tolerance
Monitor and optimize MariaDB, ProxySQL, and Galera Cluster performance, including node synchronization and overall cluster health
Configure and manage database replication, clustering,



and failover mechanisms
Develop effective database triggers and stored procedures
Design and maintain database schemas that effectively support business processes
Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, cluster inconsistencies, and replication failures
Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability of production databases
Implement backups based on GFS strategy, along with disaster recovery and database recovery processes
Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and server configuration
Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable database solutions
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5–8+ years of experience in MariaDB/MySQL database administration
