Plant Production Volume : 120 KTPA Phase-1 and 240 KTPA in Phase-2

Mandatory Experience in Imports & Exports.

Job Purpose

The role demands real-time tracking of delivery schedule, and customs clearance to ensure that all materials, machinery, and free-issue materials, arrive on time, in the right quantity, and in compliance with regulations. A major challenge involves managing multiple delivery schedules while ensuring that imported shipments clear customs without delays, minimizing disruptions to the construction timeline.

KRA's

- Availability of trucks for dispatch of carbon black to different destinations as per plan. To maintain good rapport with transporters for availability of any number of trucks at any point of requirement. To ensure lowest freight rates for new destinations and dispatches below full truck load. To ensure dispatch of carbon black as per Dispatch Advice from Marketing Head Office.
- To ensure availability of containers for Export of carbon black to various countries and destinations as per plan.



To maintain good rapport with Customs Handling Agents and Shipping liners for availability of any number of containers at any point of requirement. To ensure dispatch of carbon black as per Dispatch Advice, Performa Invoice and Bank LC documents. To maintain positive rapport with Excise & Customs officials. To manage export of carbon black from other plants through Chennai Port. To ensure proper handling of carbon black (unloading / loading ) from at godowns.
- To plan for dispatch to various countries in coordination with Export team & customs handling agents for availability of Containers & Vessels to meet customer schedules. To inform the transporters in advance for arrangement of containers as per plan. To give feedback to Customs handling agents for bringing in improvement in service To check & authorize dispatch Invoice and excise related documents for carbon black dispatch. To arrange for timely verification of documents by Customs department. To arrange for unloading of trucks received from other plants for export to various ports and destinations. To plan and arrange for timely stuffing of containers in suitable vessels on account of other plants as per plan. To train contract labour and monitor all the activities in external godowns.
