Responsibilities

System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and ensure system security.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system-related issues.

Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure.

Software Management: Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly.

Documentation: Produce and maintain documentation of the Linux environment.

Collaboration: Work with other teams to resolve issues and improve system stability.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience as a Linux Administrator.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.)

Azure knowledge advantageous.

Solid understanding of protocols like DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.

Certifications: Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, LPIC) are advantageous.

Azure

Responsibilities

Experience: Proven experience in managing Azure resources and using Azure Arc.

Experience with Azure Arc for managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Knowledge of automation tools like Azure Automation and Update Manager.

Resource Management: Oversee and manage Azure resources, including VMs, storage accounts, and networking components.

Azure Arc Integration:



Deploy and manage Azure Arc to extend Azure management to on-premises and multi-cloud environments.

Patching: Automate patch management using Azure Automation and Azure Update Manager for both Azure and Arc-enabled servers.

Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance, security, and compliance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure resources and Arc-enabled servers.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Azure services.

Azure Security: Implement and manage security measures, including Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.

Backup and Recovery: Configure and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery solutions.

Cost Management: Monitor and optimize Azure costs using Azure Cost Management and Billing.

DevOps Integration: Work with DevOps teams to integrate Azure services with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations using Azure Compliance Manager.
