Role Description The Lighting Designer will design and develop lighting solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, ensuring alignment with client requirements, architectural plans, and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating lighting layouts, specifying fixtures, integrating lighting control systems, and collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers. The role involves preparing technical drawings and documentation, reviewing product options from the Belyyse LED portfolio, and optimizing designs for energy efficiency, visual comfort, and regulatory compliance.

The Lighting

Designer will participate in client meetings, site visits, and mock-ups to refine concepts and support installation teams with clear guidance. This is a full time, on-site role based in South Delhi.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Lighting Design and general Lighting principles, including fixture selection and layout planning.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Architectural Lighting, with the ability to integrate lighting solutions into building plans and façades.




- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and lighting integration for interior spaces, supporting cohesive aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Lighting Control, including familiarity with dimming, automation, and smart lighting systems.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience with lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, AutoCAD) and basic understanding of electrical layouts is advantageous.
- Strong visual and technical communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team are important.
- Prior experience in LED lighting projects or in the lighting industry and knowledge of energy codes and standards will be considered a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in architectural lighting design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, DIALux/AGi32, Revit, or similar tools.
- Understanding of lighting fundamentals, optics, and controls.
