Role Description This full-time Licensed Insurance Agent role is based in Lucknow with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home alongside in office responsibilities. The role involves advising individuals and groups on suitable insurance products, explaining policy features, benefits, and terms, and helping clients assess their financial protection needs. The agent will conduct regular client meetings, follow up on leads, manage policy applications, and support clients throughout the onboarding process.

Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines,



handling customer inquiries and claims-related questions, and collaborating with branch teams to achieve sales and service targets. The agent is expected to build and maintain long-term client relationships while promoting LIC’s portfolio of life, health, pension, and other insurance plans.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Insurance Sales and a solid understanding of Insurance products and services.
- Knowledge of Insurance Brokerage practices and familiarity with industry regulations.
- Basic to intermediate Finance skills to help clients understand premiums, returns, and long-term planning.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and problem-solving.
- Valid or eligibility for relevant insurance licensing as per regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in local languages and English, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
- Comfort using digital tools for lead management, documentation, and remote communication.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is beneficial; minimum high school diploma, with higher education preferred.
