Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to own the Commercial Loan Origination System (CLOS) for AU’s Commercial/SME lending business. The role blends solution design, engineering leadership, integrations, and vendor management to deliver a high-availability, secure, and compliant origination platform across products such as Working Capital (CC/OD), Term Loans, WCDL, BG/LC linked limits, Supply Chain Finance, and Co-lending.

You’ll partner with Credit, Risk, Operations, Business, InfoSec, and Compliance to ensure seamless STP, robust controls, and stellar user experience from lead to disbursement.

Platforms: AU Bank uses CLOS (CredPro) for commercial lending; experience with CredPro or equivalent LOS is highly preferred.

What You’ll Do

Product & Solution Ownership

Serve as platform owner for CLOS—backlog, roadmap, environment strategy, and production stability.

Translate business/credit policies into configurable workflows, rule engines, scorecards, and maker-checker control patterns.

Drive straight-through processing (STP) for key journeys (application intake → CAM → underwriting → sanction → documentation → disbursement).

Engineering & Integrations

Lead design/implementation of APIs, microservices, and event flows integrating CLOS with: Core Banking & LMS, DMS/ECM (document generation, storage, e-stamping/e-sign), CRM, KYC/AML, Treasury/Limit systems

Bureaus (CIBIL/CRIF/Experian/Equifax), GSTN, MCA21, CKYC, CERSAI, LEI validations

Bank statement analyzers/Account Aggregator, valuation, legal, FI, property search, geo-tagging, site visit apps

Ensure secure, scalable,



and observable services with standardized API contracts, schema management, and versioning.

Delivery & Quality

Run Agile ceremonies; define DoR/DoD; enforce CI/CD, test automation, performance testing, and secure SDLC.

Own SIT/UAT, release planning, cutovers, data migration, and hypercare for major programs.

Establish SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident response, root-cause analysis, and DR/BCP drills.

Risk, Security & Compliance

Embed regulatory controls aligned to RBI/FEMA guidelines for lending, KYC/AML, CERSAI, CKYC, CKYCR, SWIFT-linked BG/LC (where applicable), and internal audit/ITGC requirements.

Ensure audit readiness, access reviews, config baselines, and PII protection (masking/tokenization, encryption at rest/in-transit).

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Work with product vendors/SIs (e.g., CredPro or equivalent) on fixes, upgrades, and performance tuning; manage SOWs/SLAs.

Partner with Business, Credit, Risk, Ops, Legal & Compliance to prioritize features and resolve process gaps.

Must-Have Qualifications

8–14 years in enterprise application engineering with 3–5+ years on Commercial/SME Lending LOS

Hands-on design/implementation of credit workflows, rule engines, collateral & covenant management, limit/line structures, and post-sanction documentation.

Strong integration experience with Core/LMS, DMS/e-Sign/e-Stamp, Bureaus, GSTN/MCA, CKYC/CERSAI, AA/Bank statement analyzers.

Proficiency in API-first architecture and at least one stack: Backend: Java/Spring Boot or .NET Core microservices

Database: Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL; performance tuning, indexing, query optimization

Messaging/Events: Kafka/RabbitMQ; Caching: Redis

CI/CD & Infra: Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory

Observability: ELK/EFK, Prometheus/Grafana, APM tools

Sound understanding of security patterns (OAuth2/OIDC, TLS, mTLS, secrets management, key rotation) and DR/BCP.
