Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chengalpattu for a Laser, Bending & Assembly Operator – Sheet Metal. The operator will set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting and CNC bending machines to manufacture sheet metal components according to production specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools, performing machine adjustments, and ensuring accurate dimensions and tolerances.





The role involves assembling sheet metal parts, conducting in-process inspections, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production line. The operator will also perform routine machine maintenance, follow safety procedures, coordinate with production and quality teams, and support continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in machine operation, particularly laser cutting and CNC bending for sheet metal.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including dimensional inspection, defect identification, and adherence to manufacturing standards.
- Candidates should possess experience working on production lines, with ability to meet output targets and follow standardized work procedures.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, quality teams, and colleagues on production and safety matters.
- Candidates should possess skills in training, including the ability to learn new processes quickly and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication, mechanical or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of basic engineering drawings, measurements, and shop-floor safety practices is preferred.
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in mechanical, fabrication, or related field is an advantage.
