Roles & Responsibilities

Implement company policies, objectives, programs & procedures and assess its effectiveness periodically. Assist project manager and region safety incharge to implement preventive safety management and monitoring system to prevent incidents, occupational diseases and ensure safe work workplace. Audit/ review implementation of site safety plan, site logistics plan and contractual requirements.



Ensure adequate safety infrastructure are established and maintain in best and ready to use condition such as first aid, safety induction & training, emergency medical assistance, sanitation, labour camp, crèche, access controls etc. Ensure contractors and PMC safety resources are used effectively and to the optimum extend. Ensure & audit legal compliance such as BOCW Act, Labour laws & environmental and other relevant statutory regulations and quarterly review of Legal Register. 10. Ensure & periodically review implementation of contractual conditions and company safety guidelines and advice project managers for improvements. 11. Prepare & implement monthly activity schedule for inspection, audit, training, and campaign in tandem with contractor’s safety plan & implement and assess periodically & improve. 12.
