Manager of Engineering – Data Platform

The Manager of Engineering (Data Platform) is responsible for leading the engineering teams that build, operate, and evolve The Standard's enterprise data platform capabilities. This role focuses on platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, data enablement services, governance tooling, platform reliability, and operational excellence that support data, analytics, and AI initiatives across the enterprise.

In this role,



you will lead teams responsible for the core data platform ecosystem, including Azure Databricks, data ingestion services, streaming platforms, data governance capabilities, data access services, platform APIs, developer enablement tooling, and operational platform services. You will partner closely with Architecture, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise technology strategy.

You will be accountable for platform roadmaps, engineering delivery, operational support, governance standards, financial stewardship, and the continued modernization of enterprise data platform capabilities. Success in this role will be measured by platform adoption, reliability, engineering productivity, operational excellence, and the ability to enable data and analytics teams across the enterprise.
