We are looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Growth & Sales Strategy Intern to work closely with the leadership team and gain hands-on exposure to different businesses, markets, customers and growth opportunities across the group.
This is a field-oriented, travel-intensive role for someone who wants to learn business by being on the ground — understanding customers, markets, sales, competition and business operations across India.
About the Role
The intern will work across multiple Sankar Group businesses and support the leadership team in identifying and executing opportunities for business growth.
You will be expected to learn the business, analyze what is working and what is not, identify opportunities and help turn those opportunities into action.
Key Responsibilities
Business Understanding
Understand the products, services,



customers and business models across Sankar Group businesses.
Learn how different businesses generate revenue and acquire customers.
Understand sales processes, distribution channels and customer journeys.
Work with different teams to develop a practical understanding of the businesses.
Business Growth & Strategy
Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
Research new markets, customer segments and territories.
Analyze competitors, pricing and market trends.
Identify opportunities for current sales channels, partnerships and distribution.
Identify potential cross-selling and business-synergy opportunities.
Support leadership on business-growth and expansion projects.
Sales & Market Development
Support sales teams in identifying new business opportunities.
Research potential customers, distributors, dealers and partners.
Participate in customer and market meetings.
Conduct market visits and collect first-hand
