Role Description This full-time Junior Research Fellow (JRF) role is an on-site position based at the Pilani campus in Rajasthan, India. The JRF will support ongoing research projects under the supervision of faculty members, including conducting literature reviews, designing experiments or studies, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting findings. Daily activities may include working in laboratories or research facilities, preparing research reports and manuscripts, assisting in grant-related work, and contributing to presentations or conferences.





The JRF is also expected to participate in group meetings, maintain accurate research records, and follow institutional and ethical guidelines for research. Collaboration with other researchers and students is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

- First class M.Tech/B.Tech in chemical/mechanical or related discipline
- First class MSc in Physics/Chemistry/Nanoscience or related discipline.
- Strong research aptitude, including ability to conduct literature reviews, design experiments or studies, and analyze qualitative or quantitative data.
- Proficiency in using research tools and software (e.g., statistical packages, data analysis tools, laboratory equipment relevant to the project domain).
- Transparent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, manuscripts, and presentations, and for effective collaboration within research teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently under guidance and meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in academic or industrial research, with prior project, internship, or laboratory experience considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with ethical research practices, data integrity standards, and institutional protocols.
- Eligibility and willingness to comply with funding agency requirements (if applicable) and institute policies for JRF appointments.
